Coach Wallingford is in his 11th season at the helm of the Buffs golf program. He is a three-time AAC Coach of the Year and was named NAIA Region XII Coach of the Year in 2007. He has led the Milligan Golf team to three AAC Championships and one NAIA Region XII championship. The Buffs made their first ever appearance in the NAIA National Championship in Plymouth, Ind. in 2007. Coach Wallingford has recruited and coached three AAC/NAIA Region XII individual champions and NAIA National Championship qualifiers.
Wallingford holds a B.A. in political science with teacher certification in social studies from Washington and Jefferson College (PA) and a M.A. in secondary school administration from the University of Akron.
Coach Wallingford and his wife Terry have been married for 26 years and have three children, two of which are Milligan graduates: Sara ('04), Donnie ('05) and Seth. The Wallingfords reside in Johnson City.
