Buffs remain undefeated

The first half was a close game for both teams, but the Buffs turned up the intensity in the second half. The biggest lead of the game came off of a three-point play from sophomore Danny McKeehan (Morrow, Ohio) with just a minute left to go in regulation, to make the score 70-51.

Junior Jeff Barnes (Franklin, Tenn.) led all players in scoring today with 19. Barnes recorded six rebounds, three assists and three blocks on the day. McKeehan fought hard all day tallying 14 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Sophomore Randall Smith (Chattanooga, Tenn.) played big for the
Buffs knocking down 10 points and pulling in five rebounds.
“The guys played extremely hard this weekend,” said Milligan College Head Coach Tony Wallingford. “We feel fortunate to have won two hard fought games against two good teams. We still have a long way to go, but we hope to improve
through our winning.”
