Buffs get road win

Chattanooga, Tenn. (Dec. 15, 2007) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team (10-2, 3-1) beat the Crusaders of Tennessee Temple University Saturday night in non-conference action. The Buffs came back from a four point deficit at the half, to win by a final score of 76-61.

The Buffs came out tough in the second half after being down 36-32. Milligan held Tennessee Temple scoreless for the first five minutes of the second half to go up by 10 points. The Buffs led by as much as 20 points in the final half of play.

Leading all scorers tonight was junior Jeff Barnes (Franklin, Tenn.) with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Danny McKeehan (Morrow, Ohio) chipped in 16 points and pulled down eight rebounds.

The Buffs are finished until after the new year, when they take on Southeastern Bible College at home on Friday, Jan. 4, in Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
