Buffs knockdown Yellow Jackets

Cedarville, Ohio. (September 22, 2007) --- The Milligan College men's soccer team defeated the Cedarville College Yellow Jackets 0-1. The buffs scored off of a Josh Stephens (Jacksonville Beach, Fla.) goal in the first half of play.

“The team played well and put on a strong performance throughout the entire game,” said Head Coach Dave Dixon, “they also showed a lot of hard work and desire to win.”

The buffs out shot the yellow jackets 11-8, during their second victory of this road schedule. Bryan Newbold (Sylva, N.C.) had another astounding performance, along with the entire defense, for they had another shutout. This also gives the team two shutouts back to back.

Look for the Milligan College men's soccer team to return to action, in AAC conference play, against Montreat College Sept. 26. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. at Black Mountain, N.C.
