Milligan College Buffaloes

Milligan College, Tenn. (Nov. 1, 2007) --- The Lady Buffs struggled Thursday night against the Lady Tornado of King College. Milligan played the first game close losing 30-26. The next two though solely belonged to King with scores of 30-19 and 30-19.

Freshman Erin Biddle (Newport, Tenn.) led in assists with 25, as well as digs with 13. Leading in kills for the Lady Buffs was senior Amanda Hyder (Johnson City, Tenn.) with 10, while freshman Ashley Welch (Waynesville, N.C.) had seven. Freshman Ellyn Sapp (Johnson City, Tenn.) led the team in aces with two. All the members of the team that served tallied up an ace Thursday night.

“We were in our rhythm at first, but then we lost it,” said Milligan College Head Coach Kim Hyatt. “We started playing (King’s) game and that is what really hurt us overall tonight.”

The Lady Buffs travel to Brevard College Tuesday, Nov. 6. The game is set to start at 7 p.m.
