Buffs fall to Grace College in tournament

Williamsburg, Ky. (Nov. 14, 2008) --- Friday the Milligan College men's basketball team fell to Grace College 72-66 in the first round of the University of the Cumberlands tournament.

Coming off the bench, senior Mykail Vibbert (Clinton, Tenn.) led the Buffs in scoring with 13 points. Senior Jeff Barnes (Franklin, Tenn.) contributed 12 points and eight rebounds. Junior Derrick Nave (Elizabethton, Tenn.) also recorded 12 points, while senior Darrell Miller (Nashville, Tenn.) tallied nine rebounds.

The Buffs struggled to produce offense, falling behind the Lancers 22-30 at halftime and recording a 25-percent field goal percentage in the first half.

The Buffs will play Saturday, Nov. 15, in the consolation round. The game begins at 4 p.m.
