Buffs face cross-town rivals in exhibition

Johnson City, Tenn. (Nov. 3, 2009) --- The Milligan College men’s basketball team faced off against cross-town rivals, East Tennessee State University, Wednesday night in an exhibition. The Bucs took the contest over the Buffs 113-61.  

Former Dobyns-Bennett standout Justin Sylvester (Kingsport, Tenn.) led the visiting Buffs with 16 points, including a perfect 7-of-7 from the charity stripe. Transfer junior Cordero Seymour (Inagua, Bahamas) was next for the Buffs with 11 points and five rebounds.

The Buffs open up the regular season Friday, Nov. 6, at the Shorter Classic against the host school at 8 p.m., and then conclude play against Concordia-Selma on Saturday at 2 p.m.
