Hillsboro star signs with Buffs
Milligan College, Tenn. (May 15, 2008) --- Darrell Miller, a 6'7 standout forward from Hillsboro High School in Nashville, TN has signed a letter of intent to attend Milligan College and play basketball for the Buffs. Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford made the announcement.
Miller, a Tennessee Prep Hoops top 50 player, averaged 18 points and 15 rebounds per game as a senior. He had 15 double-doubles this past season. Miller was named the District MVP, and also earned All District Tournament Team and All-Region. He was selected to the Nashville area All Star Team as well.
Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford is excited to have Miller join the Buffs.
“We really like Darrell's versatility. He can shoot it and drive it from the perimeter, but can also be effective down low as well. He's a good kid with a ton of potential. With added strength I am confident Darrell will have a good career at Milligan,” Wallingford concluded.
Miller joins a Milligan team that is coming off back to back 20-plus win seasons and will counted on contribute next year. He plans a major in computer information systems. Miller, an outstanding pitcher, will attempt to play baseball at Milligan as well. |
