All-American Pigford signs with Aqua Buffs

Milligan College, Tenn. (Apr. 3, 2008) --- Science Hill High School All-American Aaron Pigford (Johnson City, Tenn.) has committed to compete for the Milligan College Aqua Buffs.

Pigford was an Academic and Athletic All-American under the tutelage of Science hill swim coach Chris Coraggio. With four All-State Championships and 13 team records he will make an immediate impact uon the program at a national level.        

He captained the his team to many regional and state championships and has the ability to lead the Aqua Buffs to similar success.

He will compete in the sprint freestyles and backstoke.

"Aaron is a top-quality recruit for the program, " commented Head Swim Coach Ron Goehring. "His ability as an athlete and a leader will help the program take the next step."

Aaron is the son of Tracy and Talitha Pigford.
