Ricker joins 08-09 recruiting class

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TENN. --- Milligan College head coach Chris Layne announced this week that Greeneville High School senior Tyler Ricker (Greeneville, Tenn.)  will compete for the Buffaloes of Milligan College in cross country and track and field starting next fall.

Ricker, who has only been competing since his junior year, owns a 5k personal best of 17:17 from the 2007 Footlocker Regional Championships at Virginia Beach, Va. The son of Arthur and Martha Ricker, he earned both all-conference and all-region honors during the 2007 cross country season for Coach Jeff Bloomer's Green Devils.

"Tyler has accomplished a great deal in a short period of time and we're looking forward to seeing him develop his talents further at Milligan College," said Layne.
