Rutledge joins Lady Buffs volleyball

Milligan College, Tenn. (Apr il 4, 2008) --- Morgan Rutledge (Kingsport, Tenn.), a 5'9” o utside hitter for Dobyns-Bennett High School, has signed with the Milligan Lady Buffs v olleyball team for the 2008-09 season.

Rutledge, a three-year starter for Dobyns-Bennett, led the Lady Indians to the TSSAA state tournament this past season. She is a two-time team MVP , Defensive Player of the Year, and was n amed to the All-Big 9, All-District I, All-Region I, All-NET 1st team, as well as second team All-State on the Tennessee Sports Writers' Association team. She has been selected to the East All - star team which will play in June.

"I'm so excited to add Morgan to our v olleyball family," commented Head Coach Doneva Bays . "She will be a great student-athlete and really excel here at Milligan. She is a great fit for our program and our school”
