Rivalry results in Buffs' loss

Milligan College, Tenn. (March 17, 2008) --- The Milligan College men’s baseball team dropped both games to King College Monday at Anglin Field. The Buffs lost the first game 7-4 and the second game 8-4.

Senior Nathan Fritz (Kingsport, Tenn.) suffered the loss on the mound. Junior Brandon Murphy (Johnson City, Tenn.), junior Brian Busby (Lexington, S.C.), and junior Ryan Jamison (Somerset, Ky.) all went 2-4 for the Buffs. Senior Baker DeCamp (Miami, Fla.) also was dominate at the plate as he hit a 3-run homer.

Junior Michael Dillow (Gray, Tenn.) tallied a loss on the mound during the second game. Sophomore Dallas Crouch (Jefferson City, Tenn.) led the Buffs at the plate as he went 2-3. Sophomore Justin Motte (Johnson City, Tenn.) scored a run for the Buffs, as he hit a solo shot during the night cap.

The Buffs host Alice Loyd Tuesday, March 18, for a nine inning game. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
