Warfield signs with Aqua Buffs

Milligan College, Tenn. (Feb. 26, 2008) --- Milligan College Head Swimming Coach Ron Goehring has announced that Anderson County senior Daniel Warfield has committed to the Aqua Buffs for next year.  

A two-time MVP and high school team captain who lettered all four years, Warfield will make an immediate impact upon the successful Aqua Buffs squad. Setting school records in the 100 yards fly, 100 yards freestyle and numerous relays Warfield has also qualified for the state championships in an array of events.

Coach John Barker has guided Warfield to the Atomic City Aquatic club where he excelled under USA coach Mike Bowman. Warfield holds records of 23.31, 59.96 and 52.94 in the 50 yards freestyle, 100 yards fly and the 100 meter freestyle respectively.

Daniel is the son of Philip and Darla Warfield. He plans to major in Pharmacy while at Milligan.
