Milligan College, Tenn. (Jan. 8, 2008) --- Milligan College has announced that Adam Laney will take the helm of the men's soccer program beginning Feb. 1.
Laney comes to Milligan from Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C., where he has served as assistant director for compliance and academic services for the past year. “Adam brings to the position significant coaching and playing experience, as well as experience in athletic administration,” said Mark Fox, vice-president for student development at Milligan. “We are excited to have Adam and his family join the community. I am sure that Adam will build off of the strong base we have established in men's soccer and we will continue to compete at the national level.”
Laney holds a master's degree in business administration from Campbell University and a bachelor of science in kinesiology and biology from Charleston Southern University. He is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
“I am excited about coming to Milligan,” said Laney. “Coach Dixon and the administration have built a strong program that fits within the school's overall mission. My family and I are looking forward to giving what we can to the students and community of Milligan College.”
