Buffs chalk up another AAC win

Milligan College, Tenn. (April 24, 2009) --- The Milligan College baseball team (35-16, 15-9) extended their winning streak to five games Friday at Anglin Field as they defeated the Scots of Covenant College 7-2.

Junior Colin Duffie (Calhoun, Ga.) pitched a complete game and earned the win for the Buffs. Duffie struck out five batters, scattered five hits, and gave up no earned runs. With the win, Duffie improves to 8-3 on the season.

At the plate, the Buffs were led by senior Spencer Street (Johnson City, Tenn.) who went 2-for-4, with two RBIs and one run. Junior Ricky Morgan (Johnson City, Tenn.) was 1-for-4 on the night including a solo home run.

The Buffs take on the Scots Saturday, April 25, at Anglin Field to complete the AAC series against Covenant. Saturday's double-header is scheduled to begin at noon.
