Jones named AAC Player of the Week

Milligan College, Tenn. (March 24, 2009) --- Sophomore Wesley Jones (Kingsport, Tenn.) of the Milligan College men's baseball team was named AAC Player of the Week after averaging 0.571 (16 for 28) at the plate.

With a total of six doubles, four RBIs, and 12 runs scored, Jones made a significant contribution to the Buffs' 7-0 week. In the Buffs' 12-2 victory over King College Saturday, Jones was 3-4 at the plate with a two doubles, an RBI, a walk, and four runs scored.

For the season, Jones is batting .391 (43 for 110) with 28 runs scored and 22 RBIs.
