Buffs end Union series with losses

Barbourville, Ky. (April 18, 2009) --- The Milligan College men's baseball team (30-16, 13-9) finished a three-game series with Union College Saturday, falling to the Bulldogs 18-6 and 6-0.

Junior Ricky Morgan (Johnson City, Tenn.) led the Buffs in offense in the first game, batting 2-3 with a double and two runs scored. Junior Dallas Crouch (Jefferson City, Tenn.) batted 2-3.

Junior Shawn Ray (York, S.C.) was attributed with the loss.

In the second game, junior Todd Caldwell (Johnson City, Tenn.) was attributed the loss after pitching five innings, allowing three earned runs, no walks, eight hits, and striking out two.

Senior Brian Busby (Lexington, S.C.) , junior Randy Rabon (Rock Hill, S.C.) , and Crouch each contributed a hit. Busby and Rabon each had a walk.

The Buffs face Virginia Intermont Monday, April 20, at home.
