Milligan Baseball to host summer camp

Milligan College, Tenn. (June 3, 2009) --- The Milligan College baseball team will host a summer day camp at the Elizabethton National League field on July 20-23.

Head Coach Nathan Meade and his staff will address all facets of the game including offensive skills, defensive skills and the mental side of baseball. Each player will get personal attention from the Milligan College coaching staff along with current and past Buffs' baseball players.

The camp is designed for players between the ages of 9-12 and is scheduled to last each day from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The entry fee for the camp is $100 prior to July 10, and $125 after. The entry fee includes four days of instruction, lunch each day and a Milligan College baseball camp T-shirt. Camp registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 20.

“Our goal is to not only teach each camper various skills necessary to become the complete player, but to encourage each kid to give their best at whatever they do in life,” commented Meade.
