Buffs add Trueblood to 2009-10 golf roster

Milligan College, Tenn. (May 28, 2009) --- The Milligan College men's golf team signed Northwood High School's Jon-David Trueblood to the Buffs' 2009-10 squad. Head Coach Tony Wallingford made the announcement.

Trueblood, a native of Saltville, Va., currently carries a USGA-Index of 5. In 2005 and 2006, Trueblood was named as the Smyth County News and Messenger Golfer of the Year. Trueblood was a three-time All-District first team selection while playing under Head Coach Gary Arnold at Northwood. As a senior, Trueblood averaged 75.8.

Trueblood attended Virginia Highlands Community College for two years where he received the AIMS Scholarship for his contributions to the community.

Jon-David is the son of Randell and Deborah Trueblood and plans to study business administration while at Milligan in the fall.
