Marion Christian's Kehler inks with Buffs

Milligan College, Tenn. (May 4, 2009) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team signed their first new recruit under recently hired Head Coach Bill Robinson late last week. Marion Christian High School's Daniel Kehler signed his letter of intent to join the Buffs.

Kehler, a 5'10” guard from Marion, N.C., helped lead his team to a 22-9 record this past season. As a senior, Kehler averaged 19.7 points, 3.8 assists and 2.1 rebounds.

Kehler earned several awards during his senior season as he was selected to the All-Conference first team and to the NACA National Tournament squad. He was also chosen as the Blue Ridge Christian Conference Player of the Year.

“Daniel is the type of kid we are looking for at Milligan,” commented Robinson. “He is a great kid that comes from a great family. Daniel is a great player and we are looking forward to having him on our team next year.”
