Science Hill's Crumley
to throw at Milligan
Milligan College, Tenn. (May 21, 2009) --- Science Hill's Bruce Crumley will throw for the Milligan College men's track and field program next season. Crumley officially signed with the Buffaloes late last week.
Crumley has seen much success in the throwing ranks, recently placing second in the sectional meet with his discus throw of 159' 9”. He also recorded his personal best in the shot put this season, 41', at the Washington County championships.
“Bruce is the type of student-athlete that becomes an immediate difference maker in our program,” commented Head Coach Chris Layne. “He possesses the rare potential to impact the national scene as a freshman.”
Crumley is the son of Michael and Tammy Crumley of Johnson City, Tenn. He plans to major in history at Milligan.
