Casteel inks with Lady Buffs

Milligan College, Tenn. (April 16, 2009) --- South Greene High School's Megan Casteel signed Thursday, April 9, to start her collegiate basketball career with the Milligan College women's basketball team.

In her high school career, Casteel averaged 11.1 points per game, shooting for 46 percent overall. Specifically, Casteel shot for 35 percent from the 3-point line and 88 percent from the foul line.

The Rebels finished their season State semi-finalists with a record of 30-6.

While a member of the Rebels, Casteel has been an All-Conference, All-District, and All-Region performer.

Megan Casteel resides in Greeneville, Tenn., with her parents, Jeff and Tammy Casteel.

“I'm really excited about adding Megan to the Lady Buff family,” said Head Coach Rich Aubrey . “She has been part of a very successful program at South Greene. She is an excellent student-athlete and a great fit for our program at Milligan.”
