| Chancli Connatser Softball High School: Maryville High School (Knoxville, Tenn.) Parents: Sam and Kari Connatser Athletic Accomplishments: Connatser, a pitcher, finished with an ERA of 1.84 with 254 strikeouts in 119 innings of work. Offensively, she boasted a batting average of .323 with 16 RBIs. During her prep career, Connatser was an All-District, All-District Tournament and an All-State Tournament selection, along with being named the All-District Tournament MVP. | Courtney Davis Softball High School: Cherokee High School (Rogersville, Tenn.) Parents: Danny and Lesa Davis Athletic Accomplishments: After 115 at bats in 2009, Davis has a batting average of .330. She also has a 91 percent fielding percentage and boasts 23 runs batted in for the 2009 season. Davis was selected to the first team All Intermountain Conference team in 2009 and second team All Intermountain Conference in 2008. | Krista Lambdin Softball High School: Knox Fulton High School (Knoxville, Tenn.) Parents: Vince and Tammie Lambdin Athletic Accomplishments: Lambdin, an outfielder, was the Lady Falcons’ leadoff batter last season had had a .424 batting average for the year. In 2009, Lambdin hit 12 doubles and five triples, while only striking out four times. Defensively, Lambdin has a fielding percentage of .975. In both her sophomore and junior seasons she was named to the All-District and the All-District Tournament teams. click here for more information |
| Madalyn Oertling Softball High School: Science Hill High School (Johnson City, Tenn.) Parents: Kevin and Linda Oertling Athletic Accomplishments: Oertling enters her senior season with the Lady Hilltoppers boasting a .412 batting average and 10 career homeruns over three seasons. She also recorded 13 RBIs in her junior season. In the pitcher’s circle, Oertling had a 7-3 record during her junior season while she recorded 39 strikeouts and picked up a save. Over her career at Science Hill, Oertling boasts a 1.15 ERA. Over the past two seasons, Oertling has been a two-time All-Big Nine selection, and was an All-Big Nine Tournament selection and All-Northeast Tennessee selection as a sophomore. click here for more information |
| Maleah Wolfenbarger Softball High School: Knox Central High School (Knoxville, Tenn.) Parents: Scott and Julie Wolfenbarger Athletic Accomplishments: Wolfenbarger, also a middle infielder, had a team high 34 RBIs from last spring. Out of 105 at-bats, Wolfenbarger had a batting average of .362 and an on-base percentage of .410. Defensively, Wolfenbarger holds a fielding percentage of .970 with only three errors. As a junior, Wolfenbarger was an integral part of the Lady Bobcats squad that won the district championships and were the runners-up at the regional championships. Wolfenbarger and the Lady Bobcats went on to place seventh in the state that year. She was elected to the All-District team and was named defensive player of the year. Earlier this season, Wolfenbarger was awarded the Wendy’s Heisman Award for her performance on the field. click here for more information |
