Wes Holly
Head Coach,
Softball

Coach Holly begins his 23rd year at Milligan. 

He owns a career record of 672-372, recording his prestigious 600th win in 2008. He's a seven time TVAC and AAC Coach of the Year, Two-time NAIA District Coach of the Year. In addition, Holly has been named National fast pitch Coaches Association Region 3 Coach of the Year. 

Under Holly, Milligan's softball program is considered among the elite in the conference, ranking in the top three 19 of the past 23 years. Holly's teams have won six conference titles and advanced to fifteen District/Regional Tournaments during Milligan's 23 years of fast pitch Softball.

Coach Holly played ASA Major Open Men's fast pitch for 23 years having played on winning teams in Tennessee, Virginia, South Atlantic Regionals, and The ASA Men's Major Open Nationals in Clearwater, Fla. Holly is a member of the NFCA and currently is ranked among the top five active winningest NAIA softball coaches.

He started his collegiate coaching career at Tusculum College from 1983-87 as an assistant coach while his daughter played and pitched for Tusculum. Tusculum advanced to the NAIA National Tournament 2 times, '84-'85, while daughter Kim anchored the pitching staff.

Coach Holly is widely known in the area as he conducts several fast pitch clinics and also does personal instructions in all fundamentals of fast pitch, particularly the skills of pitching.

Coach Holly lives in the Johnson City Area and has three grown children, Kim, Wes Jr., and Robbie. Wes Jr. has been recently named as the Assistant Coach for Kennesaw State Uni.

Mallory Koone
Assistant Coach,
Softball

Mallory (Tincher) Koone was a four year starter for the Lady Buffs as an infielder. While at Milligan, Koone helped lead the Lady Buffs to two AAC Championships and one AAC Tournament title.

As a Lady Buff, Koone was a three-time All-Academic AAC selection and an All-AAC first team selection. During her career, Koone boasted a .950 fielding percentage including a .975 percentage as a senior.

During her undergraduate time, Koone received a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. Currently, Koone is in the Masters of Education program at Milligan and interning at Science Hill High School.

Originally from Jacksonville, FL, Mallory now resides in Johnson City, TN, with her husband Derek Koone.

Jessica Blevins
Assistant Coach,
Softball

Jessica Blevins comes to the Lady Buffs with a very decorated collegiate softball career. Initially, Blevins signed with NCAA Division II Carson-Newman College and played one year for the Lady Eagles.

After playing one year at Carson-Newman, Blevins transferred to Milligan where she was a three-year starter for the Lady Buffs. Blevins led Milligan to two AAC Championships and one AAC Tournament title during her playing career.

A three-time All-AAC first team selection and a two-time NAIA All-Region XII selection, Blevins boasted a .398 career batting average during her stint at Milligan. In just three seasons she tallied 31 homeruns which stands second all time in school history. As a senior, Blevins led the team in RBIs with 29 and stolen bases with 16.

Blevins, a native of Elizabethton, TN, is finishing up her degree at Milligan with a double major in business administration and computer information systems.
